I am a biomedical scientist who is enthusiastic about virology and vaccinology research. My PhD research is on "Mpox in Uganda: establishing existing immunity and characterising the immunological response to vaccination in pregnancy."

Over the past 6 years, I have developed a comprehensive technical toolkit across microbiology and immunology. My experience ranges from standard cell culture and virus propagation to advanced titration techniques, including immunostaining for non-plaque-forming viruses. I am equally comfortable at the bench performing complex assays (ELISA, Luminex, flow cytometry, PBMC isolation, and cryopreservation procedures) and analysing data in R and GraphPad Prism. I enjoy teaching students, and I recently discovered this could be one of my natural talents. 

I am inspired by how much is already known, and with the new research that scientists continue to do, it is simply amazing.
