BIO

I am a Research Assistant at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, where I am also completing a staff PhD. Working in partnership with The Love Tank, my current research explores health system and community perspectives on sexual health and syphilis care in the UK.

My work sits at the intersection of health systems, policy and health equity. I am particularly interested in how power and wider political, historical and structural conditions shape health and care. I am also interested in how communities experience and navigate these systems, and in the roles of community knowledge and organising in responding to and challenging them.

I bring experience across health systems planning, policy, public health practice and applied research in Canada, East Africa, South Asia and the UK. Prior to joining LSHTM, I worked across government, health systems, international development and community organisations.
