I am a PhD student in the Centre for Mathematical Modelling of Infectious Diseases (CMMID) and Department of Infectious Diesease Epidemiology and Dynamics (IDE-D). I primarily work on vector-borne diseases (VBDs) including dengue, Zika and chikungunya and use epidemiological, immunological and climatic data to A) better understand the drivers of VBD outbreaks in small island settings, and B) develop outbreak forecasts for use in early warning systems. My research focuses on islands in the Caribbean and Pacific and I work closely with collaborators in the Dominican Republic and French Polynesia.
