BIO
I am a physician and health economist with a keen interest on economic evaluations of health interventions. I hold an MSc in Health Policy, Planning and Financing from LSHTM and LSE, and currently work as a Research Fellow in Health Economics at LSHTM.
After completing my MSc in Health Policy, Planning and Financing, I worked on a patient advocacy group-led project to submit an application to the WHO Essential Medicines List (EML), which resulted in the inclusion of short-acting insulin analogues on the EML.
In December 2024, I started working at LSHTM on a WHO-commissioned research project evaluating the cost-effectiveness of self-care interventions and essential medicines. Since December 2025, I have been serving as a Research Fellow in Health Economics, where I use AI-assisted evidence synthesis methods and decision-analytic modelling to support efficient resource allocation for health interventions delivery.
My research focuses on estimating the cost-effectiveness of new treatment strategies for bladder cancer using mathematical models and trial data, and synthesising the global evidence on the costs, cost-effectiveness and equity implications of self-care interventions. I am also interested in exploring the potential of using AI tools to improve econometric and systematic review methodologies.
