I am joining LSHTM with a Bachelor's in Medical Science from the University of Western Ontario and a Master's of Law degree from the University of Edinburgh. I originally trained in Clinical Research, where I spent about three years in prostate cancer research and over 12 years in HIV/AIDS clinical research in Vancouver, Canada. Through interacting with HIV patients, I grew a keen interest in the impact of enhancing healthcare service and delivery to underserved and neglected population groups. My professional experience working with governmental organizations has also taught me the importance of advocating for marginalized populations' right to health and well-being - further inspiring and shaping my current research interests.
