I am a social anthropologist with a research focus on masculinity, health and digital cultures, as part of the UK Public Health Rapid Support Team (UK-PHRST). With over a decade of ethnographic experience in Central Asia, my work has explored how gender and health intersect in everyday life. I am now extending this research to Sub-Saharan Africa to examine the socio-cultural dimensions of infectious disease outbreak responses.
