I'm a PhD student at the LSHTM, part of the UKRI-funded OneZoo CDT. My current work focuses on the invasive malaria vector Anopheles stephensi, which threatens to change the epidemiology of malaria as we know it in Africa and reverse progress towards elimination. I have a background in vector ecology, fieldwork, geospatial analyses and remote sensing and GIS approaches. I use a variety of tools in these areas to try and understand the environmental and ecological opportunities that invasive vectors exploit - especially conditions created by anthropogenic change - at multiple scales.

Previously at the LSHTM, I've been part of the RAFT (Resilience Against Future Threats through vector control) Consortium, worked on entomological data from the Burkina Faso INDIE-SMC trial, and as a UKRI-funded Research Fellow studying mosquito vector ecology in the Caribbean small islands. I also spent time working at the Medical Entomology and Zoonoses Ecology team of the UK Health Security Agency as a Senior Medical Entomologist.
