My research interests focus on vaccine epidemiology, particularly in understanding how different African populations respond to commonly used vaccines. I am intrigued by the variability in immune responses and the non-specific beneficial effects of vaccines. I aim to explore how environmental exposures, such as malaria, impact vaccine efficacy and investigate the potential of BCG re-immunization to enhance the benefits of other vaccines. My work seeks to improve vaccine strategies and public health outcomes by understanding these complex interactions.
