Indira Bose is a Research Fellow at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). Her research focuses on understanding the inter-relationships between water security, food security and health, with a particular focus on the impacts of climate. Indira is experienced in epidemiological methods, qualitative research and systematic reviews. Her PhD thesis took a multimethod approach to understand the effects of rainfall on health in The Gambia.

Prior to joining LSHTM Indira worked at the World Food Programme (WFP) in Cambodia, leading the analytics, nutrition and social protection teams. She also worked at WFP Headquarters on the development of the "Fill the Nutrient Gap", an analytical approach aimed to support governments to design evidence-based strategies to improve affordability and accessibility of nutritious diets. Indira holds a PhD from LSHTM, a MPA from Columbia University and a BSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
