BIO
Grace is a Research Fellow in Environmental Epidemiology based in the Department of Public Health, Envirronment and Society.
My key research interests are in UK environmental risks to health - specifically health inequalities, local climate action and resilient food systems. Currently I am in a research role at LSHTM exploring the impacts climate change has on human health in a variety of contexts including: flooding, heatwaves, coastal communities, food systems, vector-borne diseases and blue/green spaces. I am involved in a number of projects including NIHR Health Protection Research Unit for Environmental Change and Health; European Commission funded project Enbel; NIHR Local Climate Action.
Grace has a MSc in Nutrition for Global Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a BSc in Human Biology from Loughborough University. She is currently completing a part-time PhD Student at LSHTM which examines the vulnerability of the UK food system to climate change: with a specific focus on indicators, food security impacts and policy response.
