My research interests focus on improving health outcomes for marginalized populations. I am excited about disability-inclusive health interventions, access to family planning for women with disabilities, and the use of digital and participatory approaches to promote equitable healthcare access. I also maintain a strong interest in malaria prevention and control. My research at LSHTM has included:

 

 

• Cluster randomised controlled trial with integrated process evaluation to determine the impact of a range of community and facility-based interventions to promote inclusive sexual and reproductive health and rights for women with disabilities in Kaduna city, Nigeria, delivered as part of Sightsavers’ Inclusive Family Planning (IFPLAN) project.

 

• Cluster randomised controlled trial with integrated process and economic evaluations to assess whether community-based groups using a participatory learning and action approach can improve access to healthcare for people with disabilities.

 

• A longitudinal mixed-methods evaluation of the theory of change for the SuNMaP2 programme in Nigeria, a Malaria Consortium project funded by FCDO to support more effective and efficient malaria control. My role focused on quantitative analyses using continuous survey data to provide regular evidence to support state-level decision-making on malaria service delivery and behaviour change interventions.
