BIO

I am a health services researcher with a PhD in Public Health and an MSc in the Control of Infectious Diseases from LSHTM. My undergraduate degree was awarded in Pharmacy (MPharm) from the University of Bradford. I am primarily a qualitative researcher with a background in participatory approaches. I previously worked as a pharmacist in the UK for 9 years.

My doctoral research involved an evaluation of the Medicines Quality Assurance System in Senegal.

I am currently co-investigator for NIHR funded research on; i) a mixed methods national evaluation of Pharmacy First in England and ii) Social-Decarbon: Identifying and modelling targeted low-carbon social care services. I also work with the Policy Innovation and Evaluation Research Unit (PIRU) on health and social care policy evaluation, co-leading two projects; an evaluability assessment of the AMR subscription model and an evaluation of the AMR National Action Plan 2024-2029.

I hold internal and external roles as Co-Programme Director for the MSc Health Policy, Planning and Financing and Deputy Director of the AMR centre at LSHTM as well as Steering Group member of the NIHR funded BRACE Rapid Evaluation Centre and Trustee of HSR UK.
