Lucy is an epidemiologist specialising in the control of vector-borne diseases. She is a tutor for the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine’s distance learning MSc programme. She was Associate Professor in the Department of Disease Control, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine until 2024 where she held a research fellowship from the UK's Medical Research Council. She was previously based at the Big Data Institute, University of Oxford and was a Visiting Scientist at Ifakara Health Institute, Tanzania. She has a master’s degree in the control of infectious diseases and a doctorate in malaria epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
