BIO
I am a public health sociologist with a research focus on adolescent health, particularly sexual health, interpersonal violence, and mental health, and on the development and evaluation of school-based interventions addressing these areas. Recent projects include a pilot trial of a programme to promote student belonging, improve mental health, and reduce violence in English secondary schools, and an effectiveness trial of a whole-school relationships and sexual health intervention for secondary schools in England. I have a methodological interest in the evaluation of complex public health interventions, and in equitable and decolonial research practice. I am Co-Theme Lead for Process Evaluation at the Centre for Evaluation at LSHTM.
