BIO

I am an infectious diseases researcher working in Global Eye Health, with a particular interest in ocular infections. My main focus is the translational application of molecular tools at the individual and population level. I have also worked with several large eye health survey initiatives (Tropical Data, Rapid Assessment of Avoidable Blindness and School Eye Health Rapid Assessment)

I hold a batchelors degree in Biology from Imperial College and a masters degree in Immunology of Infectious Diseases from London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). My PhD on the use of molecular tools to study the epidemiology of trachoma in the Pacific Islands was awarded by LSHTM in 2017.
