BIO

I am a statistical epidemiologist working on a range of trials and observational studies, as well as capacity development in statistics and epidemiology in Zimbabwe. My current research projects include the PROMISE trial of the effect of testing and treatment of sexually transmitted infections on birth outcomes in Zimbabwe; PROPS trial of probiotics for preterm and low birthweight infants; SUCCEED evaluation of comprehensive care and case management for people with psychosocial disabilities; and the STOP non-inferiority trials of single dose penicillin treatment for syphilis in pregnancy.  

From 2019-2024 I was based at The Health Research Unit Zimbabwe (THRU-Zim).
