I am a researcher-practitioner, Assistant Professor in epidemiology, and counsellor and psychotherapist. I divide my time between academic work at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and clinical practice, providing counselling and psychotherapy in London. My research interests focus on the evaluation of public health interventions. Evaluations in which I have played a central role have addressed maternal, neonatal and child health and malaria vector control in West African countries, primarily using randomised controlled designs with embedded qualitative research. I am currently seeking to build collaborations in mental health research.

As a counsellor and psychotherapist, I adopt an integrative approach, blending different modalities to tailor therapy to individual clients. I have trained in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
