I have been at the LSHTM since 2007 and have held both research-oriented and education-oriented roles. I currently hold a part-time education-focused role as Module Organiser for the MSc in Global Health Policy. Prior to the LSHTM, I worked for a few years as a nurse in Ethiopia, DR Congo, Chad, Afghanistan and Canada.
My educational background is in nursing (BSc, Universite Laval, Canada) with postgraduate specialisations in communicable diseases control (MSc, LSHTM, UK) and health management (MSc, Imperial College Business School, UK). I also have a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching (PGCILT, LSHTM) and I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
