I am currently Honorary Associate Professor at the LSHTM.

I have been employed at the LSHTM since 1992, and was also at UKHSA part-time (formerly PHE) from 2013 to 2023. 

I have been working on studies of the health effects of PFAS since 2005, principally in PFAS-exposed communities in the Mid-Ohio Valley USA,  Ronneby, Sweden and in Veneto, Italy.
 
I was Adjunct Research Professor in Environmental Health in the School of Public Health, Boston University, Massachusetts, USA, 2007-2017 and elected President of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology: Presidential term 2004-5.
