I am a TB immunologist with a particular interest in human biomarkers that can provide correlates of protection suitable for use in trals of new TB vaccines, and diagnostic markers of Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection or clinical tuberculosis disease. Based at LSHTM since the mid 1980s, I primarily teach on the MSc Immunology of infection. I have been active in promoting LSHTM's partnerships overseas, and in capacity strengthening generally.
